Master the GIMAP
in minutes,
not months.

The interpretive guide for clinicians serving pregnant clients, nursing mothers, and pediatric populations.

The GIMAP Simplified is the population-specific interpretation reference that lets you confidently build GIMAP protocols for the clients standard training doesn't cover: kids, pregnant mothers, and nursing women. No more re-researching every supplement contraindication. No more wondering if a finding is actually out of range for this specific population.

The Gap

Standard GIMAP training
doesn't account for
the clients you actually see.

The reference materials assume an adult, non-pregnant client. But the people in your practice are often pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or under the age of twelve. The reference ranges shift. The "normal" microbiome shifts. The supplements you can use shift.

And when you go looking for the answers, you find them scattered across textbooks, research papers, podcast notes, and forum threads. An hour of research per client. Every time.

The GIMAP Simplified collapses all of that into one reference document, organized by population and by clinical decision point. So you can interpret with confidence the first time, and build a protocol that actually fits the client in front of you.

What's Inside

Everything you need to interpret with confidence.

Six structured sections, written by a clinician for clinicians. Skip the textbook deep dives. Get the population-specific clinical decision logic that actually changes your protocol.

Pregnancy Considerations

How pregnancy alters the GI microbiome, which findings warrant action versus monitoring, pregnancy-safe eradication protocols, and the supplements and herbs to avoid.

Breastfeeding Considerations

Postpartum and lactation-specific protocols. What transfers into breast milk, what doesn't, and how to balance maternal gut healing with infant safety.

Fertility Considerations

The microbiome's role in conception. Targeted clinical patterns for clients trying to conceive, and the GIMAP findings that warrant pre-conception attention.

Pediatric Considerations

Pediatric reference ranges, age-appropriate dosing, and population-specific clinical patterns for the GI conditions that show up most often in kids.

Supplement Guide

A reference list of clinician-grade supplements with dosing, contraindications, and which population modifications apply to each.

Patterns of Interpretation

Clinical pattern recognition tied directly to common pediatric and perinatal conditions: eczema, thyroid dysfunction, hormone imbalance, autism, and more.

Built For You If

You're already using the GIMAP.
You need it to actually scale.

This guide is built for clinicians who run GIMAPs regularly and want to stop re-researching the same population-specific questions every time a pregnant client or a kid lands on their schedule.

  • You're an ND, NTP, RD, nutritionist, or functional medicine clinician who already uses the GIMAP in practice.
  • You see perinatal or pediatric clients regularly and want a single reference instead of a stack of bookmarks.
  • You want to cut your lab review time without compromising clinical accuracy or population safety.
  • You want to confidently build protocols for pregnant, breastfeeding, fertility-focused, and pediatric clients without second-guessing supplement contraindications.
  • You want to recognize clinical patterns faster, so you can connect a GIMAP finding to the eczema, thyroid, hormone, or behavioral concern the client actually came in for.

A note from the founder

I built this because
I kept rebuilding it
every time.

I run a perinatal and pediatric functional medicine practice. The GIMAP is one of the most common labs I order. And for years, every time a pregnant client or a child came in with a GIMAP to interpret, I'd find myself doing the same work over again: pulling out my pregnancy supplement notes, cross-referencing pediatric dosing tables, double-checking which herbs I avoid in lactation, and rebuilding the clinical logic from scratch.

This guide is the document I wished existed. It's the reference my team uses every day. Population-specific, clinician-direct, organized by decision point instead of by marker. The work that used to take me 45 minutes per client now takes about ten.

If you're seeing perinatal and pediatric clients and you've felt this exact friction, this guide is for you. It's the same one I built for my own practice, made shareable for the clinicians I respect most.

The GIMAP doesn't change. The clients in front of you do. This guide is what makes that work.
