The Mold Check

One test.
The picture
underneath the symptoms.

An at-home OAT. All lab fees. A practitioner-reviewed report with three protocol options built for you.

The Mold Check uses the Organic Acids Test to look for the metabolic fingerprints of yeast and fungal overgrowth, along with the dysbiosis, mitochondrial, oxalate, and detox markers that so often travel with a mold or gut-terrain picture. It's how you stop guessing and start seeing what the body is actually dealing with.

Sound familiar?

When yeast, fungus, or mold
are in the mix

Fungal and yeast overgrowth, and the terrain that lets mold take hold, leave metabolic tracks the body can't hide. The OAT reads those tracks. Here's where the pattern tends to show up.

Brain & mood

Foggy, off, not yourself

Brain fog, trouble focusing, anxiety, irritability, and mood swings that don't match what's actually going on in your day.

Energy

Tired no matter what

Fatigue that sleep doesn't fix, post-exertion crashes, and the sense that your energy production is running on a low battery.

Gut & cravings

Sugar cravings & bloat

Intense sugar and carb cravings, bloating, loose stools or constipation. Classic signs of yeast and fungal overgrowth feeding itself.

Skin & sinuses

Rashes, itch, congestion

Recurring rashes, itchy skin, chronic sinus congestion, and a histamine-heavy, reactive feeling that never fully settles.

Kids

Behavior & regression

In kids, fungal and oxalate patterns can show up as behavior shifts, stimming, focus struggles, and picky, sugar-driven eating.

The exposure

A history with mold

A water-damaged home, a musty basement, symptoms that flare in certain buildings. When you suspect mold, the terrain is the place to start looking.

The OAT doesn't guess. It measures dozens of metabolic markers from a single urine sample. The Mold Check turns that into a plan you can actually follow.

Questions

Good to know

What is the OAT?

OAT stands for Organic Acids Test. It's a single first-morning urine sample that measures dozens of metabolic byproducts: markers of yeast and fungal overgrowth, bacterial dysbiosis, mitochondrial and energy function, oxalates, detox capacity, and neurotransmitter metabolites. It gives a wide-angle view of what's happening metabolically, from one simple at-home sample.

Does the OAT test for mold directly?

Important distinction: the OAT measures the yeast and fungal overgrowth markers and the metabolic terrain that so often accompanies a mold picture. It is not a mycotoxin panel, so it does not confirm specific mold toxins in the body. It's an excellent, affordable first look that tells us whether the fungal and terrain markers point us toward mold, and whether dedicated mycotoxin testing is a worthwhile next step. Your report will tell you where you stand.

How does the test work?

Your kit is mailed to your door with clear instructions. You collect a single first-morning urine sample at home, no needles, no clinic visit, and mail it back to the lab in the prepaid packaging. That's the whole collection process.

Is this for kids or adults?

Both. The OAT is suitable across ages and is widely used with children. If you're testing a child, follow the collection instructions in the kit and reach out with any questions.

What do I get back?

A written report, reviewed personally by Nina-Marie, ND, in plain language rather than raw lab jargon. It walks through what the panel found, what it means for your specific symptoms, and then gives you three protocol options to act on.

What are the three protocol options?

Every report comes with three ways to start. The Comprehensive is the full picture: a complete supplement protocol plus food and lifestyle support. The Bare Minimum is the highest-impact essentials, a streamlined supplement protocol plus food and lifestyle support. Food & Lifestyle Only uses no supplements at all, just a targeted food-and-lifestyle plan. You choose the lane that fits.

What does it cost?

$699 one-time, or 2 payments of $399. You choose the option at checkout. The price includes the kit, all lab fees, the practitioner review, the written report, and your three protocol options.

I'm on medication. Is this okay?

The Mold Check is educational and wellness support, not a replacement for your medical team. Some medications and supplements can affect results, so keep your prescribing provider in the loop and don't stop or change any prescribed medication without them.

The Mold Check

The Mold Check and the Organic Acids Test it includes are intended for educational and wellness purposes. The OAT screens for yeast, fungal, and metabolic markers and is not a diagnostic mycotoxin or mold-toxicity test. Nothing here is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not replace care from your physician or licensed medical provider. Always consult a qualified professional for acute, severe, or worsening symptoms, before starting any new supplement, and before changing any prescribed medication. If you suspect a water-damaged building is affecting your health, address the environment with appropriate professionals. Individual results vary.
